Mystical Meandering

So, I am working on making myself a better person. I am working on doing more of the things that fill me up and make me happy. I want to write more and think more and live more deeply and fully. So, I am restarting an online journal in an attempt to do all of these things. Eventually, I would like to turn it into an actual blog, but I am hoping that this will make me hold myself accountable.

So, here's what you need to know. I'm Cricket. I am married. I have three kids. I have a BA in Theatre and a BS in Sociology. I am in seminary with hopes of being a Unitarian Universalist Minister. I have a lot of thoughts and opinions about a lot of things. I am usually on the far left side of politics. I am not a social justice warrior, I'm a Social Justice Cleric leaning a little bit toward being a Devout Thespian. The way I see this journal working is that I will have a few kinds of entries.
1) Daily life - where I will discuss what is going on with me and my family - my kids are hilarious, so these should be fun
2) Meditation - where I will delve into my own spirit and how I am feeling about any given subject usually something I've read, seen, or experienced in field placement
3) Theology - discussion of theological issues brought about by my classes or involvement with churches
4) Political - these will probably be few and far between as I am trying to keep politics out of this project, at least for now, but I'm sure I won't be able to hold to that for long. Also, social justice stuff really fits well into this category.
